Open Transit Software Foundation

Everything you need to power a world-class transit rider experience. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to open source transit software and technology, formed in order to provide governance for the OneBusAway project. The Open Transit Software Foundation is run by volunteers who believe that open source technology can make public transit better for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just getting started, a designer with fresh ideas, or someone who wants to help grow our community, there's a place for you here. Time commitments are flexible and entirely at your discretion. We're happy to work with contributors at all levels of experience. Some volunteers contribute a few hours a month, others take on larger projects. What matters most is a shared interest in improving transit technology.
