Build the next generation of OneBusAway's backend with Maglev, our high-performance REST API server written in Go. You'll help create a faster, more scalable foundation for serving transit data, working on everything from GTFS and GTFS-RT ingestion to API endpoint development and performance optimization.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a major new component of the OneBusAway platform as we modernize our server infrastructure. Familiarity with Go is ideal, though strong experience in another backend language and a willingness to learn Go are welcome. Exposure to REST API design, transit data formats, or high-throughput data systems is a plus.
