Description
Take on a leadership role in the OneBusAway Android project by reviewing pull requests, mentoring contributors, and helping shape the future direction of the app. You'll be involved in release management, architectural decisions, and setting priorities for new features and technical debt reduction.
This role goes beyond writing code — it's about stewarding a healthy open-source project and fostering a welcoming contributor community. Ideal candidates have solid Android experience with Java and Kotlin, a track record of thoughtful code review, and strong communication skills. Prior experience maintaining an open-source project is valuable but not required.
