1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OSSVolunteers ("the Service"), operated by Structlab LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OSSVolunteers is a free platform that connects volunteers with open-source projects seeking help. We provide tools for organizations to post volunteer opportunities and for individuals to express interest in those opportunities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as needed.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including organization profiles, listings, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content solely in connection with operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape or collect data from the Service without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content) are the property of Structlab LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of any User Content, including organization profiles and volunteer listings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Structlab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Structlab LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
